Please read these terms carefully before using our services or making a reservation.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Nilambara Lake View website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and hotel services located at 477, Edirisingha Estate, Ibbankatuwa, Dambulla, Sri Lanka.

2. Booking and Reservations

Reservation Process

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Nilambara Lake View
You must be at least 18 years old to make a reservation
All prices are quoted in USD or LKR and are subject to change without notice
A valid credit card or payment method is required to secure your reservation

Check-in and Check-out

Check-in time: From 13:00 (1:00 PM)
Check-out time: Until 11:00 (11:00 AM)
Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request and subject to availability and additional charges

3. Payment Terms

Payment Methods

We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and cash payments. Payment in full may be required at the time of booking or upon arrival, as specified in your booking confirmation.

Currency

All prices are displayed in USD or Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR). Currency conversion rates are approximate and may vary. Final charges will be processed in the currency specified at the time of booking.

Additional Charges

Additional services such as airport transfers, extra beds, and special requests may incur additional charges. These will be clearly communicated before confirmation.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation by Guest

Free Cancellation: Cancellations made 48 hours or more before check-in date may be eligible for a full refund
Late Cancellation: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before check-in may be subject to a cancellation fee
No-Show: Guests who fail to arrive without prior cancellation will be charged the full amount of the reservation

Cancellation by Hotel

In the rare event that we must cancel your reservation, we will provide a full refund or offer alternative accommodation of equivalent or higher standard at no additional cost.

Refunds

Refunds, when applicable, will be processed to the original payment method within 7-14 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

5. Guest Responsibilities

Guests are responsible for any damage to hotel property caused during their stay
Guests must comply with all hotel policies, including noise regulations and smoking policies
Guests must provide valid identification upon check-in (passport or national ID)
Guests are responsible for the safety and supervision of their children
Illegal activities are strictly prohibited on hotel premises
Guests must respect other guests' privacy and comfort

6. Hotel Facilities and Services

We strive to maintain all facilities and services in good working order. However, we reserve the right to temporarily close or restrict access to facilities for maintenance, safety, or other reasons without prior notice or compensation.

Use of hotel facilities, including the swimming pool, is at your own risk. Children must be supervised by adults at all times.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Sri Lankan law, Nilambara Lake View shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your stay shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the reservation.

8. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance under these Terms which is due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, government actions, or other force majeure events.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Nilambara Lake View and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written permission.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
